Producers
Insurance sales -- you know it, you love it. Now get the rewards, opportunity, and stability you deserve. We're MacCorkle Insurance Service, a rapidly growing regional brokerage with serious potential, and we're looking for the right players to join our team and make it happen -- specifically, financially motivated professionals with significant insurance sales experience (preferably in the Bay Area), proven sales records, and long-term client relationships to champion our sales through outside sales. Although MacCorkle is 40 years young, the average age of MacCorkle principals is 41, so we are a place that can be your long term home.

Commercial Lines Producer
You will be surrounded with ample support -- including a working Sales Manager, 5 Account Managers, 2 Administrative Assistants, a Quality Control Technician, and a dedicated Business Marketing professional -- which will allow you to focus on selling rather than paperwork.
Additional Qualifications
Along with significant experience and a proven sales record in insurance sales, we're looking for:
- Current CA Property and Casualty License
- Mastery of commercial Insurance underwriting, coverage & rate analysis
- Basic understanding of D&O/EPLI, E&O, P&C, Workers' Comp, Auto, and related products
- In-depth knowledge of insurance coverages and an ability to communicate this clearly to clients and underwriters
- Solid understanding of marketplace trends and best practices to meet clients' needs
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including outstanding negotiating skills
- Ability to prioritize and independently manage your workload
- Good mathematical skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proficiency in Applied Systems- The Agency Manager (TAM)

Personal Lines Producer
What's In It For You? Tremendous income potential -- understanding that nothing happens without a sale, we treat our Producers very well, and you'll receive generous commission splits on both new business and renewals, with premiums typically ranging from $5,000 to $100,000.
Additional Qualifications
Along with significant experience and a proven sales record in insurance sales, we're looking for:
- Current CA Property and Casualty License
- Mastery of Personal Insurance underwriting, coverage & rate analysis
- Basic understanding of Homeowners, Auto, Watercraft, Valuable Articles, Umbrella, and related products
- In-depth knowledge of insurance coverages and an ability to communicate this clearly to clients and underwriters
- Solid understanding of marketplace trends and best practices to meet clients' needs
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including outstanding negotiating skills
- Willingness to establish referral sources in business development (proven sources include wealth managers, financial advisors, realtors, mortgage brokers, CPAs, attorneys)
- Ability to meet others well, set up face-to-face meetings, actively seek prospective clients and referral sources
- Ability to prioritize and independently manage your workload
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Applied
- Proficiency in Applied Systems- The Agency Manager (TAM)
