As Client Services Manager, Employee Benefits, Monica is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day account support of MacCorkle Insurance Service Benefit Clients. As manager, Monica works closely with the Sales and Benefits staff to effectively attract and secure new clients as well as retain existing clients through exceptional customer service.
Prior to joining MacCorkle in January 2012, Monica served as Supervisor, Sales Administration at Health Net, where she was responsible for new business implementation processes, proposals, account management retention support, open enrollment and reporting.
Prior to joining Health Net in 2004, Monica was the Marketing Specialist of National Accounts for CIGNA. She coordinated the proposal process for all national account requests within the Western Region.
Monica earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from Boston University (Boston, Massachusetts). She has over 10 years industry experience, and over 15 years in customer service and business development. For three years she served as a board member of Girls Inc. of Island City. Monica is originally from Massachusetts and currently resides in the East Bay with her husband and son.
